Haven't posted in a while. What else is new? Figured it was time to make it more of a priority and actually try to get around to posting all of the things I've been meaning to for a long time now. So let's try to catch up on the last couple of months ...
Back in October, Stephen and I ventured to Chicago for a little getaway. I was off school and he took a week off as well, so off we were! In reality, we literally booked everything the day before. We couldn't decide for a while whether to go or not, and when we were finally ready to book the flights, they went up to $900. Each. Yup. So all of our indecisions were solved, and we were left with taking the bus there.
14 hours later, we made it to Chicago! Our first day there consisted of finally getting to our hotel and taking a much needed shower, walking around for a bit and having our first meal : pizza, naturally. We ended up at Macy's on State Street, which was pretty nice inside.
